VIROLOGY by Dulbecco and Ginsberg is handy and cheap, very good (college level). VIROLOGY by Fields B. is comprehensive an excellent, but a highly specialized text at high level. If medical aspects are not so important for you, try FUNDAMENTAL VIROLOGY by Fields B.
