Herpesviruses and vectors

Hello,
Is anyone aware of a herpesvirus that is transmitted with the assistance
of a vector?
Present research on marine turtle fibropapilloma is pointing to a
herpesvirus as the cause for the disease. This has yet to be proven,
mind you, but many believe this is just a matter of time.
Some scientists have speculated that leeches or worms and even fish
flitting from tumoured turtle to healthy animal could act as vectors and
transmit the disease.
I have begun to read abou viral diseases of koi, frogs, salamanders but
have yet to find an example of one where there is a vector implicated in
the transmission of the disease.
Any help or suggestions for further readings will be appreciated.
Best regards
