PrP expression in non neural cells

Some days ago, I posted a question on the expression of the PRP gene in
the spleen. I have found a paper showing that the gene is expressed in
the spleen, lung and heart, though at a much lower level than in brain.

For those interested, the reference is Oesch, B. et al. (1985) Cell,
40:735-746.
