**14. CORONA VIRUSES - FREELANCER (Germany). I am a freelance
science writer working for about 10 newspapers and journals in
Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I'd like to describe the
research done so far with the corona retrovirus group. I found
some information about FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) in the
Time Warner Forum in CompuServe but not enough to understand the
actual problems. I'd like to know: Which research team at which
university or industry lab is working on corona viruses ? Who can
give me an insight in the problems today ? Which immunological
tests are available today ? How reliable are they for which type
of corona virus ? What is known about the corona virus genom and
- as for antibody development - about specific membrane proteins
? If possible, I'd like to have information in about 2 - 3 weeks.
