Agreed!  As a graduate student though, I cannot afford much.  I cannot
even afford to be examined by the Doctors or Nurses that I have instructed
in the Medical Micro class that I teach as part of my support.  Kind of
ironic is'nt it!!!  As a graduate student I am doing the research that
leads to better understanding of the pathogens which Doctors treat; I
teach medical students and nursing students,  and I have no health
insurance.  Of course I could purchase health insurance......  but then I
would have to do without the luxuries to which I have become accustomed
like food and shelter.  What a wonderful system we have here!!!
