There is a book entitled "PCR: Protocols for diagnosis of human and 
animal diseases" due to be published by the end of the year by 
Springer-Verlag as part of their Frontiers of Virology series.  Meantime, 
there is the previous version of the book "Diagnosis of Human Viruses by 
Polymerase Chain Reaction Technology" which you should be able to get 
from your library.
