cycloheximide sensitivity in bacteria

I received six responses to my question as to whether there exists a gene
which makes bacteria sensitive to cycloheximide, a drug which interferes
with mRNA translation.  The general consensus is that such a gene exists
only in eukaryotic cells.  For my purpose - to test the randomness of
phage insertion - I will probably be using another drug resistance gene
(e.g. against penicillin, streptomycin, kanamycin etc.) - to conduct the
assay.  Thanx to all who responded!
