EBV BCL-2 Question-HELP, please

Hello,
	I'm doing a paper, and there's a protein that is produced by the
Epstein-Barr Virus that has been shown to have homology to the BCL-2. 
Does anyone know if there has been any sort of assay to test this.  I have
only been able to find a paper that shows they have homology.  Even if you
can't get me a reference, give me a name, or anything.  Or even if you
just know that an assay to test similar function was performed or NOT
performed as of the most recent journals, let me know.
