Dear Bronwyn and Anna,

							Please forgive my inexperience in dealing with the internet-I am 
borrowing someone else's locale, and just getting the hang of this! The 
reason is that I am a scientist at Rockefeller University in NYC and 
very interested in some of the issues discussed here. I read your 
posting and I have some information regarding dengue, but it might be a 
little too technical. For a more general view of this and other diseases 
you can look at the recent nonfiction book 'The Coming Plague' by Laurie 
Garrett. In addition, there was recently a show on CNN called 'The 
Apocalypse Bug' which discussed dengue and it's reemergence of late. I
