yeah, might make a good SF book, hell maybe i should sell the rights :-)

there are a lot of "ifs", but with a virus as potentially dangerous as this one
appears to be, considering it to be nothing more than fiction could surely
prove to be very dangerous.

one need only look at how rabies has established its self in new reservoirs in
new lands (rabies btw is reaching near crisis proportions in Texas). Place that
in conjunction with Ebola's supposedly high "coeff of mutation" and it is not
difficult to see a potential for serious trouble.

The introduction of an infected human into a virgin eco system (from ebolas
viewpoint) with out level 4 containment could provide serious problems.
I am concerned that even in a non "virgin" environment (like zaire) un buried
victims could provide a source for increasing the range and diversity of the
reservoir. Now i agree it is full of "ifs" but are they "ifs" that one can
safely choose to ignore?

IF, IF we see an increased frequency in future outbreaks, i believe it will
tend to support my scenario.

But, I still have my paranoids.

If we can not trust a freeman with his right to keep and
bear arms, then how can we trust him with the right to
vote. Surely the right of a freeman to vote has a much
greater effect on our collective lives than does any
individual's firearm. If one argues that the effect of any
one freeman's vote is minimal, then why allow it in the
first place? To be armed is to secure one's right to
representation.
