Regarding the reservoir, the clues are buried somewhere in N'zara cotton factory. I wonder if PCR techniques might be applicable (they weren't available in 1976 and 1979). Perhaps if everything in that factory is scraped up with tooth and comb and nail, the vector may be discovered. Sivasankar Chander
