An Ebola NIGHTMARE, The Mincher Scenario

Most of the nightmare scenarios concerning the ebola virus
have been related to an airborne human infecting version
of the virus. I have developed a longer more chronic
nightmare scenario, shamelessly and in bad taste i have
named it after my self.
THE MINCHER SCENARIO
The reservoir for the ebola virus has not been yet
determined. Humans do not appear to be the reservoir for
the virus. Humans die off too quickly with this virus for
it to exist for long periods of time.
So this virus must have a host somewhere that is not
effected by the virus but allows the virus to spread to
other species. An example of this would by the mosquito
that carried the malaria virus.
Currently we have absolutely no idea what the
carrier/reservoir for ebola is. It could be rats, monkeys,
pigs, sheep, insects, arachnids, fish, snakes or birds.
The virus appears to exists in small pockets somewhere in
the forest. Humans provide a means for this virus to
spread outside of its original confines, and it is also
possible that infected humans could pass the disease back
to uninfected species that where the original carriers.
This could provide a base for even more future outbreaks
since the carrier species is now infect out side of its
original zone of infection. (much like infect humans in
Zaire can infect humans in different countries via
travel.)
The quarantine facilities that have been established (even
in the west) are doubtfully level four facilities. While
humans in such quarantine may be prevented from infecting
other humans, they probably are not prevented from
infecting cockroaches, rats and what ever else may enter
the quarantine area.
We dont even know if the virus can infect other species
that where not the original reservoir , such infection may
lead to new reservoirs for the virus.
It is not outside of the realm of possibility that the
ebola virus entering Northamerica might find a new
reservoir species to use as a carrier. If this occurs in
the right species it could be the end of life as we know
it.
examples:
If the virus were to be carried by cockroaches it would be
near impossible to stop further spread, the same goes for
rats, birds, dogs, and cats.
if the virus were to be capable of being carried by Farm
animals, such as cows and chickens, it could inevitable
lead to loss of these food products and all other products
developed out of them. Which in turn would have disastrous
effects. Unfortunately, by the time the link would be made
to cows and such the infection among them might already be
massive.
our existence is perilous, then again the planet could be
struck by a giant asteroid .
sleep tight :-)

If we can not trust a freeman with his right to keep and
bear arms, then how can we trust him with the right to
vote. Surely the right of a freeman to vote has a much
greater effect on our collective lives than does any
individual's firearm. If one argues that the effect of any
one freeman's vote is minimal, then why allow it in the
first place? To be armed is to secure one's right to
representation.
