A minor point, all things considered, but what's the correct way to pronounce "Ebola?" The most common way seems to be with a long "e" at the beginning: "E-bola." But I've heard Peter Jennings and ABC reporters say it with a short "e," like "Ehbola." Any insights, linguistic mavens?
