Thank you for mentioning the piece, but that article was   
written many months ago.  Mr. Preston has expanded that article   
into a book and you might find it interesting.  It is a must   
for disease watchers and just about everyone else who values   
their health.  It is also entitled "The Hot Zone" and it can be   
found in hardback at about any major bookstore (BTW most stores   
are discounting them to get them off the shelf).
