I don't know the number of pathogenic viruses (for all the known 
viruses), but I think that I would be scarred _____ less if I knew all of the 
pathogenic unknown viruses out there!  How many disease processes are 
"driven" by viruses?  For example:  Kaposi's Sarcoma is associated 
with a resently isolated and novel herpies virus (Science, Feb or 
March, 1995).
