Sigh... The others where the 1976 outbreak that was the first
recognised E zaire epidemic. It was spread by needles in a clinic
used HUNDREDS of times over.

Note please people, that this out break is, from the reports, very
closely liked again to the medical facilities. Many of the victims
work in a hospital, or contacted the virus there in the early days
of the epidemic.  Now that better controll measure are in place,
the numbers should plummet at the end of this week or so.

As to news etc, just try phoning ANYWHERE in Zaire ;-) You may be
in for a little real world experience.

Also, while you are waiting for the call to get through, get a copy
of " The Coming Plague " and read it all, plus the refs.

BTW, re the air bourne transmission of E reston, can anyone give
a definitive reference or contact on that one?
