I'm not sure I would have used the exact same words, but I agree it is
fairly irresponsible to post things for which there is no scientific
basis at this point and spin off catastrophic scenarios from there.  Yes,
I suppose it is your *right* as far as free speech goes, but it really
isn't very mature or responsible.  I am not a virologist or a medic,
but I was premed and have taken a fair amount of biology courses and I
come here to see what the people with more experience and knowledge have
to say (not just about ebola).  I usually only lurk because I don't feel
I have much to contribute to many of the discussions.  The mis-information
and paranoia being spread about ebola really disturbs me.  It is a serious
enough situation all on its own without adding the paranoid and ill-
informed panic.  Please people, let's get a grip (or go ahead and form
alt.ebola.hysteria).
