The possibility that the virus was transmitted from throwing food, fecas,
and such is vry likely. However, if I remember correctly, monkeys that
were located in physically seperated areas of the complex were infected
(and died) as well. This would tend to support the theory that the virus
was airborn transmitted as well through the ventilation system of the
complex.
