That you are imagining that you would be in the ten percent. :)
Even the diseases most easily transmitted by air will not infect EVERY
person on Earth -- no flu pandemic has ever made everybody sick at the same
time. Some people are immune, or lucky enough not to be exposed, and so
forth. Furthermore, as several people have pointed out here already, a
FATAL disease will simply not spread to every area of every country, as
sufferers tend to die before they can travel very far. That's the practical
aspect. Morally, I have to note that those who would like necessary
population reduction to occur through a sudden pandemic tend not to picture
themselves among the dead. You're not really so concerned about the
environment that you would see the benefits if YOU were dying of filovirus.
