RNA purification

I have purified some Alphavirus RNA for cDNA library synthesis only to find it
contaminated with cellular RNA, mostly t and r.

Does anyone have a good technique for size fractionation of the RNA such that
the viral RNA will remain intact and useable in forst strand cDNA synthesis.
