What are the latest treatment protocols to date, in fighting this virus?

Once the virus has inserted Its synthesized DNA into the genome, is there
a way to interfer with this fragment by hindering transcription?  Also,
where is the viral DNA inserted?  Is there a way to interfer with the
insertion itself?  What about mRNA hybridization to hinder translation?
