Bacteriophage in water quality?

I`m working on a phage that infects an enteric bacteria, enumeration is
via the double agar layer method.  I intend to use this method in
assessing the anthropogenic waste from Sydneys stormwater drains
(concentrating in Bondi).  Is anyone else doing this sort of work?  For I
would like to compare survivability of the phage (B40-8) that infects
Bacteroides fragilis (HSP40) in the marine environment.
