Seeking info on Macular Degeneration !!!

I do recall reading of a fairly new (and probably still being
evaluated) surgical technique for curbing the effects of macular
degeneration, though I don't recall if it was for the wet or the dry
variety. Some sources also suggest zinc supplements, though I'd check
with my physician about this, especially if you have any
cardiovascular problems.
