Seeking info on Macular Degeneration !!!

  I am writing you regarding a disease that has struck a friend on mine, 
MACULAR DEGENERATION. The patent is a white male, approximately 65 years 
old in good health. He has been diagnosed with the 'WET' for of this 
disease and has been told by his doctor that there is no cure or medical 
help available for him. At this time he is almost completely blind. He 
has had Laser treatment in the past and just recently lost most of his 
vision. 

   Can you tell me if you know of any doctor or medical center that 
specializes in this disease? Do you know of the latest treatment or 
visual apparatis or procedure that can help him regain his vision? If 
you or anyone you know can provide information, treatment or any other 
form of help for this persion, please send me a reply.
