Viral DNA Transport into the Nucleus

The question I have deals with the transportation of viral DNA into the
nucleus.  Have any factors, proteins, or gene sequences been identified
that may be responsible for the transportation of viral DNA into the
nucleus of mammalian cells?  Any theories, papers, or advice dealing with
this subject would be greatly appreciated.
