There is a computer virus (bootblock specific) by that name and it sounds
like it's gotcha already by the look of your message.
 Perhaps its time for a thread on computer viruses being proposed lifeforms.
There is a good article on this by Peter Dawes, "The evolution of computer
viruses Part 1: a compelling analogy with biological viruses", The Medical
Journal of Australia Vol. 157 pp196-197.
The follow up article "Part 2:Codetic diversification" is in the same vol
(157) pp273-274. 
Fascinating reading...the biological analogy is very interesting from a
virologist's point of view.
