creation of new newsgroups

My two cents about creating new newsgroups is not to do it. I read the 
postings specifically for information of a diverse nature; I never know 
when a specific topic might have a gem in it for my research. I would be 
totally unlikely to scan more than a few more newsgroups. The Ebola 
info-overload was short-lived and for me, not too overwhelming that I 
couldn't go into rapid-delete mode and get rid of stuff that wasn't 
interesting (just as I do for much of the HIV stuff). I agreed with the 
gentler reminders that really basic questions should be kept off the net.
