Prateek Lala recently answered a query about hepatitis vaccines incorrectly. Currently, vaccines are available for hepatitis A (an inactivated virus protein prep.) and Hepatitis B (a recombinant protein prep.). Unless something has happened very very recently, no vaccine is available for hepatitis C or E.
