Please folks...let's keep civil...while i don't really follow the logic of
Mr. Scutero either, at least he's TRYING to be polite, as evidenced above. 
As a researcher, i know that it is frustrating to answer questions which
seem to challange my intellectual integrity...however it makes us look like
pompous arrogant bastards (as some would truely like to believe we
scientists are) when we respond in the defensive and occasionally impolite
way to those who question.  Indeed, i feel that the questioning of
interpretations and assumptions is extremely valuable and if nothing else
reminds us that what we do for a living is of direct and immediate value to
others of our species.
