Herpes and n-docosanol - potential cure or treatment

    i hope this isn't out of bounds for this newsgroup, but....

    is anybody familiar with the human trials currently underway by a
    california pharmaceutical company called LIDAK and their n-docosanol
    based formulation known as Lidakol ?

    supposedly has shown some good results in the treatment, healing and
    prevention of herpes outbreaks.
