First off: I'm not in the biz. I'm an ad guy that just has a morbid taste
in reading material
Secondly: Apologies if this is a rehash question, again, i'm not in the
biz so have not taken to checking this group out until now.
Okay, here goes:
I just finished reading the book "The Hot Zone"*, which is about the ebola
reston monkey house situation. It also gives some background info on
marburg and the ebola sisters: zaire and sudan. I am interested in what
the reaction to it is within the field. How sensationalized is the book?
How possible is it that ebola reston can mutate to a form that is
contagious to humans?
thanx in advance for your joint and several insight, or for your restraint
at hurling virtual monkey dung at me for asking rehash questions.
