My cites are at the end of this post. HHV-6, HSV-1 and 2 infect and kill
NK cells. HHV-6A also DIRECTLY kills many types of lymphocytes.

How about epstein-barr virus? It is a herpes virus and it is spread through
the saliva. HHV-6 is also found in the saliva (see cites below.)
