Viroids

[Dr. M.C. Diffin]

Another group recently mentioned viroids in the context of human disease,
leading me to ask a plant expert who replied that they, if they exist, are
poorly understood and distinctly controversial.

Could any plant pathologist please give me a synopsis of the current state of
thinking, if indeed there is one. Please email if possible.
