Cytomegalovirus dUTPase

I'm finishing up a paper on evolution of dUTPase, and there are a couple 
of sequences in Genbank for Cytomeg dUTPases (by sequence homology).  
Does anyone know if there is any wet lab data to support that these are 
actually active enzymes?  The active site motifs appear to be completely 
absent from these sequences.
