New hepatitis viruses

Can anyone add to the information reported in the New York Times (Tues., 
April 11) regarding 3 new hepatitis viruses identified from blood
taken in 1960?  The viruses appear to be in the Flavivirus family.  
Blood was taken from a surgeon who developed hepatitis but because of 
inadequate technology at that time, the blood was frozen and recently
tested at Abbott Laboratories where the isolates were made.
