HSV-1 Host shutoff

I am a second year graduate student in the late stages of writing a proposal
for a prelim exam.  I've chosen HSV-1 Host Shutoff control as my topic. I'm 
interested in the role of the UL13 kinase in this shutoff and its effect
on known shutoff players.  

The proposal is near completion; I'm writing to see if anyone in the field
has a few minutes to answer questions and make comments on how realistic the
experiments I'm proposing are.
