VSV in insects

A Wisconsin veterinarian associated with the U.S.D.A. told me yesterday 
that VSV (vesicular stomatitis virus) had been detected in dipteran 
insects. He knows no more about it.  Does anyone out there have any 
information he or she could share with us.  Thanks.
