Retrovirus / receptor

With regard to Jim Gibbs recent message about retroviruses downregulating
receptors.

If my memory serves me right HTLV - 1 may actually UPREGULATE
Interleukin - 2 receptors on infected lymphocytes. A mechanism which is thought
to play a role in  Acute T - cell Lymphoma, by continuous stimulation of
infected T - Lymphocytes. I'd appreciate it if anybody out there could refresh
my memory!
