The supposed 'virus' appears at this stage to related to a bacteriophage found
within the Strep group A. Can you imagine what excellent diagrams are appearing
- a good ol' phage with 'long legs' about to 'unleash' its 'nucleic acid
package' on this unsuspecting Strep to turn it into a 'flesh eating'
microbiological monster out to destroy us all!!!
However all this usual media hype aside - it is after all a health dollar (OK
or pound[are there any left?] spinner! Cases have previously been reported but
one can only agree ie. nothing new and dont panic.
Or should one really add 'yet'?
