JC virus questions

I'm posting these questions for a graduate student in my lab
who is working on a final project for the graduate virology
course concerning JC virus.

They have unable to find published papers that have addressed
the infectability of JC archetype strain for glial or kidney
cells.  Has this been done in vitro?

Are there any tissue culture systems that would address the
biological properties of JC virus DNA rearrangement of the
genomic regulatory regions?

Any work relating to tissue tropism of JC viral strains?
